i felt this sudden urge ... to blog.i've thought about it many times too.why is power so addictive?because you get kicks from commanding others?or is it something more?power,like all double-edged swords,can both heal and kill.more often than not,it ends killing you.it seems that all who gain power are afraid to lose it.and bit by bit,they start to rationalize all the wrong things that they do.this slow and inexorable slide to the murky depths of betrayal happens more often than we think.a sane man,lusting for power,simply uses any means to get what he wants.simply put=to him,the end justifies the means.by then,good luck to you.

however,power can also be used as an ally.wielding power for the sake of demonstrating that you have power is an act of a fool.abusing your power is a petty pleasure of sadistic fools.more often than not,letting go of your power shows others that you CAN empathise with them,CAN understand them and WILL treat them well if they deserve it.all in all,it makes you a humane leader.yes,i'm talking about meritocracy.the fault of one is not the fault of many;yet the fault of many is the fault of one.i'm talking cheem stuff here,so don't torture your braincells trying to find meaning in it.if you understand what i mean,you'll get it.

if you gave someone power,you had to make sure that you could be happy with the worst possible thing he could ever do with it.sometimes i think mandos and scouts are really similar.both talk about the essentials of survival,and also reinforce the ideology of always being prepared and having backup plans ret'lini(just in case).add that to the values of loyalty,strong self-identity,honour,clan,duty and viola!i would like to think that's who i am.its hard to imagine a place where nobody rushed to step in to end a power vacuum,and yet there is one.i'm an idealist,and i'm a realist too.yeah,mandalore is like that.its a great leveler,and a fresh start.
